Today a cougar attacked a little girl not far from my house. This is just after another cougar attacked and killed a leashed dog in front of its owner on a hiking trail. This is really strange because we don't usually have cougars coming into town and a daylight attack in front of other people is pretty brazen.

I had three different newspapers phone my house afterwards, asking if I had any information. I talked to The Province and The Calgary Herald, but I didn't give out a lot of details or sensationalize anything so they'll probably use someone else's quotes in the paper.

In other news, I've been watching Russian Language videos on Youtube and trying to teach myself. I can now converse with any Russian customers at work and ask things like "How are you?"

I also signed up for a Russian Penpals thingy online. Maybe I'll meet my Russian Figure Skating Coach Who Looks Like Liev in Defiance. You never know!

I saw the end of Prison Break on Youtube and it just made me laugh. I'm glad I jumped that ship a long time ago. I can't even bring myself to watch Season 1 now. Anyway I hope Lincoln makes the most out of his new found freedom because it cost a lot of people their lives. He's the Matt Damon

I bought the newest Easy Company book when we went shopping last week. It's really interesting. I never knew that Johnny Martin was only fifteen when he signed up for the army! Also, there is a picture of Lipton and he looks really hot. I heart Lipton. That reminds me, I had a dream that Donnie Wahlberg was working at the drugstore with me. Weird...

I still weigh the same this week as last week so now I figure I better step up my exercise routine. From now on there'll be no more sleeping in and slacking off. May the spirit of Herbert Sobel guide me!

I love Mondays. It's my weigh-in day! And guess how much I weigh now? I'm 160 lbs! :D I've reached my second goal weight, which was my original goal two and a half years ago! It's so crazy...

I played baseball yesterday and I got on base again. I hit the ball every time I went up, although the first time it was a foul and the third time they got me at first. There were a lot of girls on the other team though that struck out swinging and couldn't hit the ball so I don't feel too bad. It was fun.

Yesterday I went over to my grandma's house and she gave me a newspaper from August 14, 1945, aka V-J Day. It's the Vancouver Sun and on the front page it says "PEACE" in big, red letters. I should take a picture of it so I can show you guys, it's really cool.

Speaking of celebrity crushes, my Kirk love has disappeared. Like completely. I look at him now and there's just nothing there. I mean I have him on Facebook (on my fake, blank profile) and that should make me all starry eyed, but I'm not. How sad...

Also, to anyone new to my flist reading my fanfics, you figured out my kink yet? Those who knew me in the Prison Break fandom have probably already put it together. I find that it bleeds through all my fandoms now, even when I'm not doing slash. (Probably moreso when I'm not doing slash actually)

I don't know, maybe it's not obvious to other people, but when I put all my fics together I'm just like "Oh God, what is wrong with me?" and then I'm sure people are wondering why all my stories end up in the same place.

I can't help it, that's just where my brain goes!

Tonight was my first ballgame and I was soooo nervous at first I was shaking. I struck out my first two times up to bat and then on the third time I got a hit and got on base! (Actually got a double on an overthrow) I got to third on the next batter and would've made it home if the following batter hadn't gotten out.

And I didn't do too bad in the field either. (Well not any worse than the rest of the players. Our team is pretty pathetic sometimes.) The guys were all looking out for me, Jeff would tell me where to stand and when to run. It was cold and I was so anxious half the time, but otherwise it was fun!

Also, I'm now 162 lbs, yay! That's 30 lbs lost since I came back home. Only 22 to go! I was wearing a pair of cute short pants tonight that I never would have been able to fit into before. And I didn't feel self-conscious standing in front of everyone.

Man, I really want to see Wolverine again. I told my dad he has to come with me because he skipped out the first time and I know he'll like it. I told him I'd go see Star Trek if he went and saw Wolverine with me again.

I need some more Sabretooth! And this time I will pee right before we go in so I don't get distracted half-way through.

I have all sorts of Victor Creed story ideas rolling around in my head. Just the opening credits gave us so much to work with. I think my next one might combine one of my other favorite things, WW2.

Hmmm, we shall see...

OMG U GUISE I JUST SAW WOLVERINE AND IT WAS THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER. FUCKING BLOWS THE DARK KNIGHT OUT OF THE WATER LIKE WHOA. EVERY ACTOR WAS AWESOME AND LIEV SCHREIBER OWNS MY SOUL.

ALSO YOU MIGHT WANT TO PEE BEFOREHAND BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE TO GO DURING THE MOVIE YOU WILL MISS SUPER IMPORTANT THINGS BECAUSE EVERY TEN SECONDS THERE IS SOMETHING THAT EITHER PERTAINS TO X-MEN 1 AND 2 OR IS LIEV SCHREIBER BEING A HOT ASS.

MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THAT SABRETOOTH WAS WEARING TOO MANY CLOTHES.

Also, it's really nice out right now so I'm on the patio with my comp before I go to work and I bought some new clothes today at the mart of walls.

And I'm going to be playing my first baseball game on Monday. Eeee!
