So, I've run away from home again. This gets me a sacrilicious, and Minor is making us spaghetti & meatballs for dinner.

I may take the Nazi-killin' bat to that smoke detector though...

I'm not big on the winter holidays--they depress the hell out of me for various reasons and I also associate them with non-stop allergy attacks courtesy of dusty decorations--so I haven't signed up for cards or anything. We're not going to bother decorating at my house since we've reached the clutter threshold, and no Christmas tree can withstand Red's enthusiasm.

This disappoints my mother to no end because it's her favorite holiday.

My dad and gradmother are huge fans of golf and Tiger Woods. As you can imagine, this week has been rough for them.

I'm not a fan of Tiger Woods, nor am I in any way condoning what he's done by cheating on 4 (FOUR!) women. If I cared, I'd call it despicable, but I really don't, so can we please have something else on the TV and in the newspapers now?

However, this article, in which they detail how Tiger is finding himself deeply unpopular with the black community and especially black women, pisses me off mightily.

Perhaps it's just me; perhaps it's because in my own mind we live in a post-racial society when we clearly, clearly don't.

Yep. Procrastinating Here. Could've got a million things done today. Didn't. Oh wells.

Most importantly: my user info page doesn't look noobish! I'm incredibly long winded, but not noobish. Prettiness.

Also, got rid of like half my tags that weren't being used properly. There's still some that should probably be deleted, but i like them too much.

So it snowed today...a ridiculous amount for this city, which means a light snow flurry for the Midwest. And, of course, Houston freaked out. Panalpina closed at 1500, which means I have a 9-hour shift waiting for me tomorrow to make up for it. FML.
